Description:
The event brings together student leaders from middle and high school Black Student Unions in the Shawnee Mission School District (SMSD). The Summit will empower and uplift students through advocacy and representation, provide resources and support for academic and professional success, and promote health and wellness. The event provides breakout sessions that will allow the students to gain knowledge about various topics, network with each other and professionals and leave the event feeling more informed and empowered to use their voice for making positive changes in our community.
