Washington Crossing Foundation
Description
Open to US citizens who are planning careers in government service. Applicants must write a one-page essay stating why they are planning a career in government service. This essay must be accompanied by a recommendation from the high school principal or guidance counselor evaluating the student's achievements, along with transcripts, national testing scores, and other supporting information of the applicant's choice as described in the Official Rules. Winners receive an all expenses paid weekend, including transportation and housing, in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, to attend the Scholarship Awards Ceremony. All winners must attend the Scholarship Awards Program on Saturday, April 27, 2013 in order to win their scholarship.
