Valdosta State University - several scholarships available
Description
The VSU Admissions Office gives out academic scholarships to incoming freshmen each Fall Semester. By completing the General Scholarship Application you will be considered for scholarships administered by VSU. In order to be considered for one of these scholarships, freshmen must have a grade point average of 3.1 academic classes only, SAT or ACT scores and extracurricular activities. The minimum SAT score to qualify is 1240 (combined Critical Reading & Math) or 28 ACT (Composite). We do combine your best scores from each test. There are two academic scholarships offered which do not require an application, the Odum and Whitehead. These are offered to incoming freshman. Eligible students are automatically selected by the VSU Office of Admissions. This application will be available ONLINE ONLY again starting January 1.Other scholarships will be available through the Financial Aid Office and various departments.
