Requirements to apply for academic scholarships include: Must have an ACT composite of 23 or greater or SAT composite of 1050 or greater (Verbal/Critical Reading &Math scores) (plus minimums in each part of the SAT or ACT); have a 3.0 minimum high school cumulative GPA on a non-weighted 4.0 scale; and be admitted to the University. Students with an ACT composite of 28 or higher (SAT 1250) are given early priority consideration (see priority deadline date) and will receive award notification after December 1st. All students meeting eligibility criteria must submit a completed scholarship application and apply for admission to be considered. Application available online. The Valedictorian Scholarship is awarded upon high school graduation; students should contact the UL Lafayette Scholarship Office for more information. Departmental scholarships also available.
