Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults (several scholarships available)
Description
Discontinued. Must be a young adult cancer survivor or have a parent with cancer or have lost a parent to cancer. Not for those with childhood cancer; must have been diagnosed/ rediagnosed AFTER age 15. These competitive scholarships are awarded to the most qualified applicants who best demonstrate: dedication to community service, commitment to educational and professional goals, use of their cancer experience to impact the lives of other young adults affected by cancer, medical hardship, and financial need. Application and essay required, and community service after winning award required. Updated applications available in December.
