The University of Georgia - Hodgson School of Music
Description
Financial aid available through the School of Music includes both School of Music sponsored and band sponsored scholarships. These scholarships are renewable each year with a maximum contract length of four years as long as, upon annual review, the student's level of achievement remains satisfactory and the student maintains full-time status. One audition satisfies both the admission and scholarship consideration requirements. Mark the appropriate box on the online application to receive further information and scholarship consideration. Admission application to UGA must be completed by the deadline indicated. All prospective First-Year music majors (regardless of specific emphasis) who audition on one of the live dates in January and February are automatically considered for performance-based music scholarships.
Consideration for a music scholarship is based solely on the audition itself; no additional forms are necessary.
Music scholarships are renewable if the requirements of the scholarship contract are maintained by the recipient.
Music Minor and Transfer students are not considered for music scholarships.
