The SECU Foundation "People Helping People" high school scholarship program
Description
A senior student from each North Carolina high school can receive one of these scholarships. Applicants MUST BE SUBMITTED BY THEIR HIGH SCHOOL. Open to students who will enter one of the 16 constituent campuses of the University of North Carolina system. Is not a Director, employee, or family member of an employee of the State Employees’ Credit Union or the SECU Foundation. Must exemplify the philosophy "People Helping People" by having demonstrated leadership, excellence of character, integrity, and community involvement. Must have scholastic achievement and at least 2.5 GPA. Must agree to continue as a full time student in good standing with the same university for 8 consecutive semesters.
