The Holocaust Remembrance Project
Description
This contest is open to all students age 19 and under who meet the following criteria: (1) are currently enrolled as a high school student (grades 9-12) or who are high school seniors who will graduate high school at any time this year, or are students who are enrolled in a high school equivalency program; and (2) are residents of either the United States or Mexico or U.S. Citizens living abroad. Must write an essay analyzing why it is vital that the remembrance, history, and lessons of the Holocaust be passed to a new generation, and what can be done to combat and prevent prejudice, discrimination and violence in our world today.
