By applying for admission, you have already applied for merit-based Texas Tech University scholarships, which are based on academic achievement, and test scores. No additional application is required. These scholarships include the President’s Platinum, President’s Gold, and President’s Silver Scholarships. All Presidential scholarship awards are made to admitted freshmen students based on the official class rank/percent recorded in the student information system by the Office of Admissions. Presidential Scholarships are awarded to students who show exceptional academic ability through superior test scores and class ranking. If you are a non-resident awarded a Presidential Scholarship, you will also qualify to pay in-state tuition.
