Texas Southern University - Freshmen Achievement-Based (General University) Scholarship
Description
The Freshmen Achievement-Based Scholarship (GUS) is offered to entering freshmen students and has three levels on which to qualify, starting with a cumulative GPA of 3.00, 1200 SAT or 23 composite ACT and up. The General University Scholarships is for high academic achievers and is not specific to any major field of study. Recipients must be a citizen of the U.S. or a permanent resident. These scholarships are renewable for up to four years based upon required academic performance. Any combination of financial aid and scholarships cannot exceed the cost of attendance; recipients of certain other scholarships can not receive their GUS scholarship.
