Description

Three scholarships listed: The Fort Gordon Service Club of Fort Gordon will award merit scholarships for graduating seniors in good standing at an accredited high school in the CSRA and a military dependent with a valid ID card, to assist them in their first year of education at an accredited university, college, or vocational/technical school. Applicants will be evaluated on academic standing, trade aptitude, citizenship, character, participation in school and community activities, and the stated desire and sincerity for further education. The Fort Gordon Service Club of Fort Gordon will award a continuing education scholarship for one (1) year of schooling to a deserving military family member. This award will assist them in their continuing education at an accredited university, college, or vocational/technical school. The Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) grant program that provides assistance to students who intend to teach in a public or private elementary or secondary school that serves students from low-income families.
