The purpose of the Kappa Foundation of Cary is to foster the intellectual, ethical, social, and moral development of youth in North Carolina with emphasis on disadvantaged African-Americans in Wake County. In addition to nurturing and supporting the intellectual development of these young people, the Corporation strives to deepen young people's commitment to their communities and to promote prosocial values such as personal responsibility, respect for self, respect for others, and achievement in every field of endeavor.
