The selection process is extremely competitive and students who submit completed admission application packets by the Early Action deadline are automatically considered for merit awards. (A scholarship application form is not required for consideration of an award.) Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis and subject to the availability of funds. Consideration of awards is granted, not guaranteed to students who meet minimum eligibility requirements. Merit-based scholarships are awarded to students with a SAT score of 1100 + (combined Math and Critical Reading score only) or an ACT composite score of 24 + . One new scholarship (Achievement Award) requires the recipient to have a cumulative 3.50 academic grade point average. A minimum SAT or ACT score is not required for this scholarship. An early action admissions application including an essay are required.
