Description
Institutional Scholarships for Entering Freshmen; Institutional scholarships for returning students; private scholarships for new and returning students; state scholarships; Most scholarships available to entering freshman are offered to students who are selected to participate in the annual Presidential Scholarship Competition. The one-day competition is held on November 30 this year. The selection process is highly competitive. Generally, students should graduate from high school with a 3.0 GPA based on a 4.0 scale, and have a combined score 1250 or better on the critical reading and math sections of the SAT or a 28 composite score on the ACT. Students must be enrolled full-time during both fall and spring semesters in order to receive their scholarships.
