Elon University - Watson and Odyssey Scholarships (oustanding academic prifle and documented high financial need) and the North Carolina Junior Elon Scholars (academically talented high school juniors)
Description
For the North Carolina Junior Elon Scholars must demonstrate superior academic achievement and exceptional involvement in those activities which are highly valued as part of an Elon education. Benefits include the opportunity for early notification of acceptance to Elon, early consideration for a Presidential Scholarship valued at $18,000 over four years, and an invitation to apply for Elon's prestiguious Fellows Academic and Scholarship programs. Candidates for a North Carolina Junior Elon Scholars award should have an "A" average and a combined critical reading, math and writing SAT score of 1900 or higher or a score of 29 or higher on the ACT. Co-curricular achievements should demonstrate sustained commitment and leadership.
