College of Coastal Georgia Foundation- Emory Dawson Scholarship

Description

Criteria include, but are not limited to, the following: Student must be registered with the Office of Disability Services by submitting sufficient documentation of disability. Student must be willing to attend the Elks Club Emory Dawson Luncheon and have information pertaining to their disability shared with attendees of this luncheon. Minimum SAT score of 350-Verbal, 350-Math (freshmen). Minimum ACT composite score of 14 (freshmen). Minimum 2.0 GPA. Student must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours. To be considered for Foundation scholarship, you must complete a Foundation Scholarship Application (found on the website). Only one scholarship application is needed to apply for all of the Foundation scholarships. Foundation scholarships are awarded based on an applicant's scholarship score (a combination of grade point average and scholarship essay score) along with any other specific scholarship requirements. Preference is given to students who apply before the priority deadline. Updated application available in October for Fall term, or call the Financial Aid Office.
