Description

Applicants with a grade point average (GPA) starting at 3.25 and 1100 SAT score (verbal and math only) (24 composite ACT) will be considered for an award. Financial need of each applicant will be considered in the selection process. This award is renewable annually based on meeting all scholarship renewal criteria. All eligible applicants that meet the criteria by the designated deadlines will be placed in a pool and ranked using the three criteria of test scores (SAT/ACT), high school grades point averages and financial need. The number and amounts of all awards will be subject to available institutional funding. Students wishing to be considered for any scholarships must submit their Clark Atlanta University admissions application, recommendations forms,, application fee, an official high school transcript, and SAT or ACT scores by the deadline. All information on file in the Office of Admissions by the deadline will be used to determine eligibility for scholarships. High schools using a weighted grading scale must have the weighted grade point average printed on the transcript. Dean's Scholars Program recipients must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.25, be enrolled in fifteen (15) hours of undergraduate courses per semester and successfully complete at least 30 credit hours per academic year.
